Bellwick

How Bellwick works

A free check first. A call only if you want one.

Bellwick helps you understand a home repair before you talk to anyone, then connects you with a local company that does the work.

  1. Take the free check

Pick what needs fixing, enter your ZIP, then answer a few questions, one per screen. No name, email or phone number.

  2. See your snapshot

The likely causes, what each usually costs from cited public sources, and the questions to ask. It’s guidance, not a diagnosis or a quote.

  3. Call a local company, if you want to

Tap “Schedule with a local pro” to call an available local company. You talk to them directly; they do the work.

The money

How Bellwick is paid

Here's how we make money: local companies pay us a referral fee when you connect. It's free for you.

Homeowners never pay Bellwick, and the check is free whether or not you call.

The call

What happens when you call

  • You make the call. We never call, text or email you.
  • You’re connected to an available local company that serves your ZIP.
  • They introduce themselves and ask about the problem. Your snapshot has a short script you can read.
  • Give it a couple of minutes: companies usually need about 90 seconds to understand the job.
  • Pricing, scheduling and the work itself are between you and the company.

Recording

Calls may be recorded

The call is between you and the company, and it may be recorded. Every call button carries this notice:

Free for homeowners. Bellwick connects you with a local company — you'll speak with them directly, not with us. Calls may be recorded.

What we don’t do

We connect. They do the work.

  • We don’t do the work. Bellwick isn’t a contractor and doesn’t perform repairs.
  • We don’t vet, inspect or rank the companies you reach. Ask about licensing, insurance and warranties before you hire anyone.
  • We don’t set or guarantee prices. Cost ranges are estimates from public sources.

Your check

What the check stores

Each check is saved anonymously from the moment you enter a ZIP, so we can see what homeowners are dealing with. It stores:

  • The trade you picked and your ZIP (and the town it belongs to)
  • Your answers and how far you got, including checks you leave part-way
  • The most likely cause we showed you, and whether a local company was available
  • Whether you tapped the call button

It never stores your name, email, phone number, IP address or device details. The check’s random id goes in the page address, so a refresh brings your answers back.
